What. A. Goal: Spanish Third Tier Player Scores 35-Yard Overhead Kick

Fans attending UD Socuéllamos game against Arenas in the Spanish third tier probably didn’t expect to see a contender for the Puskas Award last week but that’s exactly what they got.

Socuéllamos striker Javi Gomez scored one of the greatest overhead kicks of all time against Arenas, audaciously attempting to chip the ‘keeper from 35 yards out.

To make things even better, Gomez’s strike turned out to be the winner for UD as they picked up all three points in the Segunda B last weekend.

Here is that wonderful strike.
